German term or phrase: long sentence
I am having trouble with the following sentence because of its length and grammatical structure. I'm not sure whether something has been missed out but would appreciate any help with translating it. The subject of the text is hormone therapy in andropausal men.
"Da im Mittelpunkt der hormonellen Defizite der Testosteronmangel steht, dieser am besten charakterisiert ist, langjährige Erfahrung in der Substitution des männlichen Hypogonadismus mit Testosteron besteht und auch die größte Erfahrung in der Therapie des älteren Mannes mit Testosteron vorliegt, steht diese Therapie ganz im Vordergrund."

English translation:several shorter sentences
Explanation:
Because hormone deficiency focuses primarily on a decrease in testosterone, this decrease has been evaluated more thoroughly than other hormonal imbalances. Furthermore, long-term experience has been gained in testosterone replacement for the treatment of hypogonadism, and the majority of that experience has involved testosterone replacement therapy for older male patients. For these reasons, this therapy will remain in the forefront ...

This is how I understand the passage. The best idea may be to break the sentence up into several shorter sentences. I'm sure you can find the best formulation.
