Medical - Medical (general)
|German term or phrase: zentrale Adipositas|
|This phrase appears in the following sentence: 'Diese Studien deuten an, dass die Testosteronsubstitution zahlreiche kardiovaskuläre Risikofaktoren (Fettstoffwechsel, zentrale Adipositas, diastolischer Blutdruck) günstig beeinflüssen kann.' I know that 'Adipositas' is obesity but what does 'zentrale' imply? If it is simply 'central' in English, can anyone tell me what central obesity actually is?|
