German WMS System / German measuring system for childrens shoes
WMS stands for the sizes Weit, Mittel, Schmall. In English the sizes are calle width fittings, there appear to be six of them, C - H. Since the German system is uniquely German and an official standard measure, I would recommend the above translation which I found in in the news archive on shoemaking.com (see URL). Eva
