German term or phrase: Gefäßbrücke
Hi,
Yet another question from a neurolysis surgical report.

Is this a large vascular bundle passing over and compressing the nerve?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stent

Explanation:
Stent
Etymol.: engl.

If you read the question carefully, you'll see that this is not about an artificial implant, but about a natural structure.

anastomosis

Explanation:
A vascular bundle is specific to botany, as far as I know.

anastomosis: The connection of separate parts of a branching system to form a network, as of leaf veins, blood vessels, or a river and its branches.

An anastomosis can either be a natural or a surgical connection between vessels.

It is not clear from the context here that the term describes a connection between blood vessels; the word could simply describe the fact that a blood vessel "bridges" the nerve and compresses it. In this case, I would just use "blood vessel" and be done with it :)
