German to English translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / neuro
German term or phrase: angeschlungen
Can anyone help with this, from a ulnar nerve neurolysis report:
Context: ... Hier wird nun proximal des Sulcus der Nerv dargestellt und zunächst vorsichtig mit der Overholt-Klemme umfahren und angeschlungen.

What I have:
Here, the nerve was visualised proximal to the groove. Overholt forceps were first carefully positioned around the nerve, then used to grasp it.

Is there a better/more accurate way to translate this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Explanation:
After moving the forceps around the nerve, you use a kind of suture thread or small, soft plastic tube to encircle and retract the nerve.
