Medical - Medical (general)
German term or phrase: Vorlaufzeichen
This is a term within the examiniation findings of a patient related to back pain. Any ideas?
The whole term is "Positives Vorlaufzeichen" and the answer can be either left or right.

English translation:standing flexion test
Explanation:
I'm not a medical specialist, so I'm not sure that the Zeichen in Vorlaufzeichen equates to test. Possibly, the whole phrase would be positive standing flexion test.

Note: When this test is found to be positive, we recommend proceeding with the Vorlauf test (also known as the standing flexion test), and then administering the appropriate treatment for a locked or unstable SI joint.

This finding is indicative of a positive standing flexion test.lJ1 A positive standing flexion test purportedly indicates limited movement of the ilia on the sacrum, displaying limited sacroiliac joint motion on that side.' The tests that suggest sacroiliac joint dysfunction, however, are known to yield measurements of questionable reliability.18
