agree  J.Muldoon: Residual disorder is what the ICD translates it as....
20 mins
  -> thank you, felis - however, what you mean by the ICD term is used for psychotic disorders -> schizophrene/s Residuum, Restzustände. This is not meant here.

agree  SJLD: residual effects? persistent/persisting?
40 mins
  -> ok, also persisting is possible, however, Restzustände also means - IMO - less plus reduced severity of the symptoms (of the previously reported serious adverse effects) ...

agree  Ingrid Moore
1 hr
  -> Danke, Ingrid.

agree  Petra Paulus: yep for residual symptoms
11 hrs
  -> Danke, Petra.

Incidentally, don't be put off the first by the reference to psychiatry. As you will see, the word is used in its ordinary sense here.

neutral  SJLD: you're thinking of sequelae? that would be Folgezustände, no?/I don't know what you mean by "sequels" then - do you have an example?
22 mins
  -> We are not thinking of sequelae, which has a specialised meaning of its own, but of the plural of sequel.
