is he or she an official or just the next of kin? 15:33 Nov 29, 2009
I saw this question after the "Einsargungserklärung" entry, but they obviously go together. In my opinion, what it means here that it is only permissible for the cause of death to be entered on the form (by someone else) if the person who would normally officially be in charge of the interment approves.
I would say this is to ensure that no cause of death is cited which is blatantly wrong (i.e. the "person in charge" could see if the corpse had bullet holes or a slashed neck or something). This is important in your case as the actual (deferred) burial is to take place somewhere quite different.
Presumably the person in charge will also sign the "Einsargungserklärung" (once we have successfully translated it)? |
