German term or phrase: stationsebene
German medical report. I'm wondering if the term I'm having trouble with here might mean, "hospital floor"?:

"Der Patient war zuletzt ***auf stationsebene*** selbständig mobil."

"The patient was finally capable of independent mobility in the hospital." ???

Thanks!
