German term or phrase: vor sich hinrieseln
Das Themais Psoriasis.
Der Moderator fragt: Wie wuerden Sie die Belastung fuer den Patienten beschreiben im Vergleich zu anderen Krankheiten die Sie behandeln?

Der Doktor antwortet: Das kommt auf den Schweregrad an. Wenn die Krankheit mittelschwer bis schwer ist, is es eine extreme Belastung fuer den Patienten weil er jede Nacht, wenn er zu Bett geht "vor sich hin rieselt...."

Ich weiss dass er ueber die herunterfallenden Hautschuppen der Schuppenflechte spricht, habe aber ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung wie ich die etwas saloppe Ausdrucksweise dieses Doktors in Englisch in Worte fassen koennte.

Hat jemand einen Vorschlag bitte? :)

I know the feeling - and the expression is somewhat strange: I would use it in connection with dandruff but not psoriasis. :-)
