agree  herbalchemist: The 'aus' can be included as 'titrated to the endpoint' (chem.) or 'titrated to the intended effect' (med.). To titrate, by itself, doesn't inherently imply stopping the gradual addition at any point. One can over-, under- or back-titrate in chem.
