German term or phrase: Fettunterdrückt
"Technik" (bei einer Kernspintomographie eines Schultergelenks):
1. T1-gewichtet SE Sequencz in coronarer und sagittaler Schichtrichtung.
2. Fettunterdrückte TIR Sequenz in coronarer Schichtrichtung.

I realize it probably has nothing to do with "fat" but here's what I've got so far:
1. T1 weighted SE sequence in coronary and sagittal slice orientation
2. Fat suppressed TIR sequence in coronary slice orientation

Fat surpressed TIR sequence in coronary slice orientation
Explanation:
I think you got it right !

It has to do with fat, however,as the body fat in this patient hiners the examination making it more challenging for the examiner.
