What exactly is the Vorfuß? Just the front part of the foot? Can't find any dictionary references - not even in the Roche Lexikon Medizin! But maybe it's in a medical dictionary I don't have. TIA for any help you can provide here.

that's what HEAD calls it when describing its tennis shoes (forefoot area). I have been translating their stuff for years and they insist on that word. perhaps that helps
