indikatorisches Konzept

English translation: indicative

Medical - Medical (general) / Shoulder Surgery
German term or phrase: indikatorisches Konzept
"Durch Verwendung des Trauma-Schultersystems TSS lassen sich problematische Frakturen im Bereich des proximalen Humerus und Humeruskopfes beim alten Menschen erfolgreich behandeln. Damit wird eine Lücke im ***indikatorischen Konzept*** der Behandlung von Schulterfrakturen geschlossen."

This should hopefully be my last question on this "shoulder-wrenching" job. I cannot find "indikatorisch" in any dictionary (can't understand why) and I'm afraid I have no concept whatsoever of what an "indikatorisches Konzept" might be. Need an answer rather urgently. TIA for your help.

English translation:indicative
Explanation:
literally - this closes a gap in the indicative concept of how to deal with fractures of the shoulder

In other words - this completes the list of indicative procedures that can be used in the event of shoulder fractures

Not my specialist area but it seems fairly obvious and you are in a hurry

I could have done with some additional input (I hate it when only one person answers a question and it doesn't even get a single peer grade! But one answer is a LOT better than none at all!). I used your second suggestion, which sounded quite good. Thanks for at least answering. I could have done worse! :-)
