German to English translations [PRO] Tech/Engineering - Metallurgy / Casting / fantasy novel
German term or phrase:Ausführungen
This is from an overview of the world of Kryson to accompany the novel, explaining the history, language, culture etc.
"Das gebräuchlichste Zahlungsmittel auf Ell ist eine geprägte Münze, die sich Anunze, Mehrzahl Anunzen, nennt. Der Kopf des jeweiligen Regenten befindet sich auf den neueren Münzen. Es gibt sie in verschiedenen **Ausführungen**, in Gold, Silber und Bronze. Die angegebene Reihenfolge beschreibt die Werthaltigkeit."
I guess the usual translation here would be "types" but I wonder whether here, in the context of coinage, it could be "denominations"? Thanks for any thoughts.
I'm not keen on types/versions either. And I think you may have a point re. "denominations", assuming that the coins are of different value acc. to the metal involved. Are there sub-denominations within each metal type or are there just the three coins?

types / versions /maybe even metals
Explanation: This might refer to gold, silver, bronze.
I think "denominations" would be going too far.
