Die Lötkolben sind mit einer Spezialbeschichtung ummantelt, die den Kupferkern vor aggressivem Lötwasser und Ablagerungen auf der Oberfläche schützt. Kein Nachfeilen oder Hämmern mehr nötig für 2500 Lötmeter!

Ich glaube, es gibt kein solches Wort auf Englisch und möchte es wie folgt formulieren:

neutral  hazmatgerman: An interpretation as "material used" does not appear likely as the focus is on the tool rather than the consumables. Regards.//But that's what you say "for 2500 meters of used up".
17 hrs
  -> exactly that! It means that the tool does not need any "maintenance" up to a certain point. Like the tires that need to be changed only after some thousands of km. My focus is not on the wire, but on the tool, instead.
