German to English translations [PRO]
Metallurgy / Casting / steel production
German term or phrase: Hammer
It's in a text about the history of steel production. There are numerous references such as 'er besaß zahlreiche Hämmer' 'übernahm den Hammer seines Vaters' etc. It's definitely not a hammer for banging in nails. So far I've thought of 'forge' or 'hammer works'. Any bright ideas around?
I can't understand why the words not in any dictionary as it occurs time and time again in my document.
