Ich möchte mich vorweg dafür entschuldigen, dass ich eine Wortgruppe anfrage. Ich wollte jedoch den Zusammenhang nicht auseinander reißen; sollte eine andere Vorgehensweise erwünscht sein, werde ich mich danach richten.

Hier erst einmal eine kurze Erklärung zu den Begriffen:

Es geht um den Einsatz von Kalziumkarbid für die Stahldesoxidation.
Die Schmelzen wurden einer metallographischen Analyse unterzogen. Die Analyse hat Folgendes gezeigt:
I Pfanne (Versuch) - **punktförmige nichtmetallische Einschlüsse oxidischen Typs Grad 1,0**, spröde Silikate, Grad 0,5.

agree  transatgees: I used to work in steel-works. If inclusions were non-metallic, they were always specified as such. Do not exclude this detail.

Explanation:
Before becoming a freelance translator I worked as the supervisor of the NDT department in a light alloys foundry. When carrying out radiographic interpretation, we just referred to these as oxide inclusions.
I can't remember using a grading scale. The specifications we used allowed oxides up to a certain size and/or a certain number of oxides per /area or volume.
I would be tempted to use point-type and level, although I am not certain about these two terms. (Point-type seems to contrast well with linear inclusions, ref your other query.)
The reference below refers to a rating scale for inclusions.
