Durch chargenweise Verarbeitung homogener Eingangsprodukte aus Industrieabfällen oder Rücklaufmaterial kann Aluminiumgranulat unterschiedlicher Körnung in definierten Legierungen hergestellt werden. Nachteil dieser Produkte ist ein leicht erhöhter Kohlenstoffgehalt, der von geringen Resten organischer Restverunreinigung stammt.
Folgende Aluminiumlegierungen werden derzeit als als sortenreiner Aluminiumgries verarbeitet:
