German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Metrology / equipment testing | | German term or phrase: faustdick in der Birne | hand-held stroboscope for the measurement, control and indication of rotational speeds (turbines etc.) with 12,500 flashes per minute: Plus Lichtintensität:
XXX hat es faustdick in der Birne. Mit seiner Super-Helligkeit von ca. 1200 Lux stellt Ihnen XXX ein brillant ausgeleuchtetes und klar profiliertes Prüfbild zur Verfügung. Mit hoher Geschwindigkeit taktende Prozesse können Sie mit dieser Powertechnik am „stehenden Bild“ mühelos beobachten und dokumentieren. Bei Qualitätsprüfungen können Fehlerquellen schnell und genau identifiziert werden.
I understand this as a ref. to its sophisticated technology but there may also be a ref. to its zenon lamp.

| A stunningly brilliant solution
Explanation: This is what I would say. It plays on both the brightness of the light source and the sophistication of the meter (and by extension on the maker's intelligence, and clients are notoriously vain :-). Plus everything is a "solution" nowadays.
And if you can squeeze in "enlightenment" as well, you'll be home free with the marketing people.
I would leave out XXX - it doesn't scan and the name appears in the next sentence anyway.
