Thank you, that just fit best. Trainer was too general.

Stationsausbilder
trainer

Explanation:
Assuming the link is appropriate, it means that the training involved moving round from one location (Station) to another, performing tasks - a bit like a fitness trail, but learning parachuting skills. I don't think this really translates into English, and I think trainer is perfectly adequate.

agree  Andrew Swift: Sounds like he may have been based at a base. I think you need to add 'instructor' before someone else does. In GB, we now wear 'trainers' on our feet.

-> Thanks, Andrew, I hereby add 'instructor' before someone else does. But I think people will probably work out that he wasn't employed as a shoe.

agree  Andrew Swift: There are some promising results under "scenario instructor". I would reserve "situation" for moon landings and the like. For ‘Sit-yair-shun’, listen to the Best of Martin McGuiness album

-> scenario instructor also sounds good, thanks

neutral  philgoddard: It's Station, not Situation. If you look at the reference given by the asker, which I assume is correct, this is not what it means at all.
