This is an announcement of an upcoming concert. Is there a more idiomatic way to translate this than "The Moscow Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra will be conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev"?

neutral  yyyzzz: Best avoided because the ‘leader’ of an orchestra (by convention, the first violin) is someone other than the ‘conductor’. OK if it is small ensemble and the leader and conductor are one and the same.

  -> I always knew that person as the "concert master." So, still no problem in the USA, the concert master can lead, or the conductor can lead, either way, the group is "led by" ...
