Explanation: Again I'm not sure, but there's a chocolate manufacturer in Germany using the expression "Lagerkakao" on its website, and Lagerkakao for them normally refers to the region in which it is grown, be it Tanzania, Venezuela or wherever (I know that, 'cos I rang them). I suggest that (given your context), this refers to really TINY-scale cacao growing, as literally in a back garden, as compared with very small plantations with anything over a dozen or so trees.

You might note that if you're trying to find "...cacao" on google, with a German "head" to the word, it won't ask you if you meant "...kakao", but believe me, it's worth trying...
