neutral  Sabine Braun: Absorbable is more common. Your website is by a German author, I am afraid.

  -> pls.do some googling and you will find that resorbable is not used in German texts only. By no means it is incorrect.
neutral  Cetacea: "resorbable" is used in English, but not in a nutritional context. All instances of resorbable being used this way are translations. English uses absorbable for nutrients, German uses resorbierbar. No point arguing about it, it's just usage.
