Pig breeds Explanation: The former is a particular erman pig breed, the latter is "the saddle-back pig breed". Saddle-backs are a particular breed but with some variation. Take a look at the database of http://dad.fao.org/, the Domestic Animal Diversity Information System They do not translate the name Schwäbisch-Hällisches Landschwein and describe the origin of the breed as composite of Landraces and Old Saddlebacks (Asian origin) .
