German term or phrase: Spannband
The only item on an order from:

"Parkplatzaufsteller für *Spannbänder* 3x1m auf befestigten Geländeflächen"

This refers, I think, to the stands and bands that one uses to create temporary parking spaces on a patch of land. But what is a "Spannband" actually called in this context in English?

TIA, David.

P.S: I have seen the glossary entry, but the context is somewhat different.

I would simply see them as the posts that hold the tape, see e.g.

I decided in the end that I was barking up the wrong tree with my "temporary parking spaces", but thanks anyway for your input.
