BU-, EC-Sachversicherung

English translation: extended coverage

22:41 Sep 21, 2000
German to English translations [PRO]
German term or phrase: BU-, EC-Sachversicherung
This is a text on insured fire damage and damage caused by interruption of production (Betriebsunterbrechung perhaps?) It then refers to the conditions upon which the contracts are based:
AFB
ECB
FBUB and
ECBUB

The C doesnt look too German, so could it be 'economic costs'. The last B is maybe Bestimmungen?. But that U has me stumped...

All suggestions appreciated :-)

Extended Coverage - Business Interruption - Fire - Conditions

Explanation:
Most of the trouble here is that your German text always uses the English expression EC = "Extended Coverage".

There are German expressions for this: "Deckungserweiterung" and "zusätzliche Deckung" but often the English abbreviation is used in German too.

AFB = Allg. Feuer- Bedingungen = General Fire Conditions

not AFB, Assekuranz Freier Berufe

FBUB = Allg. Feuer- Betriebsunterbrechungs- Versicherungs- Bedingungen = General Fire and Business Interruption Conditions
