commercial or utility vehicles; passenger cars or passenger vehicles Explanation: Nfz covers anything from trucks to buses and beyond. PKW can apply to a wider range (e.g. [passenger] cars and SUVs) but is commonly used to describe the former, specifically. Reference: http://www.daimlerchrysler.com/index_g.htm?/products/product... |

Nfz = Nutzfahrzeug(e) = commercial vehicle(s) Explanation: Again, I have done a lot on motor vehicle manufacturing and distribution, and we have always used "commercial vehicles" for "Nutzfahrzeuge". It seems to be a little broader than the term "utility vehicle(s)". HTH Anja Experience |
