I don't quite understand the meaning of "Runde" in the following sentence:

"Das Ziel unserer heutigen Runde ist ein offenes Gespräch über Ihre Erfahrungen mit Methoden der Kariesfrüherkennung im Sinne von Bakteriennachweis.."

This a guide to a video that will contain interviews with various dentists who will all be asked the same questions. The above sentence is the presenter's opening remarks.

Do they mean "round of interviews"? Or does Runde have some specific meaning in a video/film context? Thanks in advance for your help.
