Thank you for your kind assistance in helping me. As we are talking in context of a dog show for a very special occasion, namely a centennial celebration, I decided to choose Champion of the Century, as it sounds very special, grandiose, and has the added benefit of both words starting with c (although the sound is indeed different, it still looks better than 'winner', I think). Indeed, champion sounds so much better than winner, and the tone of the text was really - well, it was written in such a way that I think champion would sound better. It refers to the dog who wins the prize, by the way. So I think winner or champion would be the only possibilities.

You are correct. In the future, I should refrain from writing too little information, or else I confuse everyone and do not get a sufficient answer. This was my newbie mistake, and I will try to provide as much information as possible in the future without compromising my company's confidentiality. I'm just very careful about crossing that line, and I hope you understand.

When posting a Kudoz question, I believe we are all asked to provide as much context as possible. This generally means giving the sentence in which the term appears, the surrounding sentences, as well as an explanation of the tone, thrust and intended audience, even, of the text in question. You provide some of this, but by no means all. We are all here, ready and willing to help. Please give us some clues. What kind of exhibition? If you do not know, perhaps asking the client might be the way forward.

Then at least we can see whether it’s a singular or a plural. Actually, ‘Winner of the Century’ is not such a bad idea: I’m sure we could all use some extra lifespan.
