German term or phrase: Freizeitpädagogik und Tourismuswissenschaft
Name of a subject studied at the University of Bielefeld. Is there such a thing as "science of tourism"? On a more general level, is there any English term which can be used for "-pädagogik" words? And has anyone any idea what subjects might be covered by "science of tourism"?

Leisure Education and Tourism

Explanation:
I don't think you translate the "Wissenschaft" at all.

The above phrase sounds English to me, but if I can think of anything better I will let you know.

Recreation and Tourism

Explanation:
I agree it's better to leave the "science" off for Tourism, but for Freizeitpädagogik I'd suggest "Recreational Science" or just "Recreation"
