German to English translations [PRO]
German term or phrase: Schriftformklausel
I am translating a contract in which Schriftformklausel appears as a heading. The text below the heading states that changes to the contract must be made in writing and that cancelling this clause in the contract must also be done in writing. I know that basically it is a clause to state that altering the terms of the contract must be done in writing but how can I express this in one/a couple of words?

The Romain Dictionary of Legal and Commercial Terms offers "stipulation regarding written form" itself. I think "clause on written form" would work here. In fact, I've used that before.
