German to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Paper / Paper Manufacturing
German term or phrase: Rüsterei
It is "Schweizerdeutsch" - and signifies some part of a paper manufacturing plant. Unfortunately this is all the context I can give: "Reduktion der Gesamtlogistikkosten in Lager, Rüsterei und Transport"
Thanks for your help.

aufbereiten = amongst other things, processing or producing

In other words the production or processing hall/warehouse
which means that this term is used to describe where the paper is processed...(prepared, printed, cut etc.) before storing (Lager).

Paper finishing (shop)

Explanation:
I'd bet this is a Swiss shortening of "Ausrüsterei", where paper is finished, treated, bound into books, stapled into booklets, folded and - well has everything done to it before it is sent out.

The link below gives a good definition of the work of an "AUSrüster", but it didn't work for me as PDF; if it doesn't work for you, google for "Ausrüsterei; Papierfabrik" and page up the html-version:

it should of course be preparation area, not preparedness, as my special friend KM so helpfully pointed out, without referring to the other 2 perfectly fine proposals !
