German term or phrase: nach dem Oberbegriff des Hauptanspruchs
Das betrifft die Druckzuführung in eine Variatorwelle eines stufenlosen Getriebes, nach dem Obergriff des Hauptanspruchs.

What could the last few words "nach dem Obergriff des Hauptanspruchs" in this context mean?

Your quick assistance would be appreciated.

xxxfachexpert (asker): 1:25pm Oct 8, 2002: terminology - OOOPS! COLLEAGUES! Excuse me! Steffen has correctly pointed out the typing error there. The word is in fact "Oberbegriff" Thanks Steffen!
xxxfachexpert (asker): 1:26pm Oct 8, 2002: terminology - YES, THIS IS A PART OF A PATENT.

in accordance with the preamble to the main/primary claim
Explanation:
This is referring back to a patent of some sort.

main load demand

Explanation:
vague ideas are whizzing around in my head here, but I can\'t seem to gather them properly (maybe someone can spin them further):

Variator : variable speed gear (Ernst)
Variatorwelle (no googles): shaft of variable speed gear

Druckzuführung : pressure line (hydraulic, pneumatic?)

This is where it starts getting tricky:
Obergriff: upper handle (makes no sense) or perhaps superior/upper request/demand
Hauptanspruch : main (load) priority

I know this is all rather vague and disjointed, perhaps it\'ll ignite something in someone elses brain?

OK, according to the corrections (patent / Oberbegriff)
