German to English translations [PRO]
Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature / comic strip
German term or phrase: Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts!
Its the punch line in comic strip.
The whole story
1st frame: a penguin orders "20 scoops of chocolate ice cream and 20 scoops of stracciatella ice cream".
2nd frame: the iceman hands it to him, "Prego"
3rd frame: the penguin is sitting in a bucket full of ice cream "Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts!

The only (im-)possible punch line that I have so far been able to come up with is, "The best thing in life is freeze" (and I am aware of the fact that it doesn't really work)

I did not use any of the many wonderful and helpful answers in the original form mainly because they were too long, but I would like to thank everyone very much for all the suggestions. At one point they were coming in so thick and fast it was almost like sitting down with a group and bouncing ideas off each other. I gave point to this answer because it is closest to what I finally used (I just simply deserve the best), which is also exactly the same length as the original text. Unfortunately I couldn't share points around as I would have preferred.

I hardly ever treat myself! / Treat Yourself?

Explanation:
Tricky task, but I think one of these would still be adequate and funny.

Explanation:
Okay, I know this isn't a direct translation, but I was just trying to think of what a penguin in a bucket of ice cream would say. Maybe a little too cute, I know!

Because you're worth it!

Explanation:
That's the line they use in L'Oreal ads here in the US, which I like a lot. But not sure if you want to use it the same way.

Maybe something like, "Come on! You're worth it!" or
Treat yourself every now and then
or
Treat yourself to a sweet time!
Give in to sweet pleasure!
