werkinterne Reflexion
immanent analysis/critique

Explanation:
Here's an odd-thing: Google hasn't heard of "werkinterne Reflexion"! Very suspicious. Based on a nodding acquaintance with history of literature (which I acquired in Germany), I'd hazard a guess that this is what is meant. I.e. the work is analysed within its own frame of reference, rather than from an external one.
