Art/Literary - Poetry & Literature
German term or phrase: Mir ist sehr wohl geschehen.
This line comes from a poem, which appears as part of a gravestone inscription, which appears as follows in the original form:
"Ade ihr meine liben. Du Vatter und Mutter hertz.
Thut euch nicht mehr betrüben. Vergesset diesen schmertz.
Mir ist sehr wohl geschehen. Ich leb in wonn und freud.
Ihr solt mich wieder sehen, Dort in der Ewigkeit."

I am assuming it could be translated something like "I have been dealt with very well" or "I have been treated very well," but would like a second (or third or fourth) opinion!
