- it's mostly sound, but with one or two startling errors, notably translating "Ärmel" (sleeves) as "angels" (where do they get that from?) and "um mich" as "to me" when in fact it means "around me".

I find with you


Explanation:
Listening to the whole song and the choruses I believe here he's saying "i find with you. I find with you". In the next chorus he changes it to "I am close to you, I am close to you" Other places he sings of how he's on his way to her. There are places where I can't make out one or two words so that keeps me from translating the whole thing, but from what I can make out, this is what he's saying and it makes sense. I hope that helps. By the way - good song, who sings it?

In this case he's saying "Nur weil ich langsam erfrier find ich zu dir, find ich zu dir". After reading all the lyrics it seems the woman he's referring to is dead. This first set of lyrics is him saying that he's dying from the cold - freezing to death, and as he does he's getting closer to her, he'll be with her soon. I'm not explaining this very eloquently. but these first lines are him saying, as I lay here dying I'm finding my way to you - (I'm getting closer to you / I'll be with you soon).

But when using the phrase "I find with you..." You may say to someone: "I find peace with you" - meaning when I'm with you I'm at peace. Or you could say - The love I find with you is unconditional.... meaning the love I feel from you is unconditional / I feel that your love is unconditional. I hope this helps.

Amorel is very right, I offer this answer as a matter of metric. If you need to fit the anwswer into the same meter, than you would need something shorter.

disagree  Vincent Borkowski: " I reach for you" and "I seek you out" both mean that I am looking/searching for you, however, in the original phase, it should rather be translated as "I find you" or "I return to you" imo.

Well, I wouldn't call it the "right" and "official" translation for your particular phrase. It's just what they made out of it when they did the English version of the song.
