German term or phrase: Der weg ist das Ziel
Do we have a nice equivalent for this saying in English? It needs to sound catchy as it is for a "coffee table" book about design.

Thanks in advance for all inspired suggestions!

medium is the message

Explanation:
If the book is about design I believe that this one would be ok

disagree  Hermeneutica: So why do the flowerbed at all? This is a bit rarified for this case ...

The journey is its own reward

Explanation:
just another idea, also "it's not whether you win or lose but how you play the game" might be somewhat similar in meaning

agree  xxxIanW: Very nice, but perhaps something other than "journey" - how about "occupation"?
2 mins

agree  Hermeneutica: alo with Ian ... the [creative] process is its own reward? Then you could say "paraphrasing an old adage" or sthg like that.
25 mins

agree  Lori Dendy-Molz: I like "journey", personally. Why not "creative journey"?

Explanation:
I've heard this saying in the US, but when I put it into Google, a porno site popped up, so I'm not going to give you that reference.
