I'm not sure what "Anstrich" means here, even though it is mentioned a few times in this document:
Das Honorarsystem generiert einen automatischen Anstrich. Diese Liste wird den Fotoredaktionen / Sekretariaten zur Verfügung gestellt zur Prüfung; manuell werden Preisinformationen ergänzt oder geändert.
Der Anstrich wird schließlich von der Fotoredaktion (u.a. Instanzen wie Verlagsleitung) freigegeben.
Falls Anstrich nicht ok erfolgen manuelle Nachbesserungen und Änderungen.

Could be, but almost the only other google hit is someone talking about an internship at a photo agency so unless that's a coincidence I think it must be something specific to photo editing...

Explanation: Based on the examples of "Anstrich" at the LEO discussion, below, I think this is probably a folder containing a list of the photos that have been used in a book or magazine. The owners of the photos can be paid based on this information. The LEO discussion suggests that "marked up" is a possible translation for "Anstrich", but I have not heard the term used this way.
In book publishing, I have heard the term "permissions file" used in a similar way.
The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to.
The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability.
