German to English translations [PRO]
Real Estate / Real estate
German term or phrase: Schutzengelgebiet
Another Swiss real estate term. I'm guessing at guardian angel district or area. Can somebody please explain to me what it is? Searches on the Internet so far haven't provided me with anything.

Thanks.

You are totally right. Congratulations.

The translation has nothing to do with references but with the habitual course of word-makeup of the German language :
- Schutz : guards, protects, etc.
- Engel : angel.
- Gebiet : area, territory, field, etc.

Explanation:
perhaps, but it's only a wild guess. I'm holding a Illinois real estate licence for 6 years and never heard of such term.
