Here is the context:

Der Kapitalertragsteuerabzug entfaltet die vollen Endbesteuerungswirkungen hinsichtlich der Einkommensteuer und Erbschafts- und Schenkungssteuer von Todes wegen (Ausnahme: keine Erbschaftssteuer-Endbesteuerung der Immobilientangente eines allfälligen im Fonds enthaltenen Immobilieninvestmentfondsanteils).

This is an Austrian company, so I suspect it's an "Austrianism."

I'm also struggling with "entfaltet" in this context!

Thanks for finding the reference -- but the collocation at that site is actually real estate "tangency portfolio," never referring to a "real estate tangency" alone, nor to the plural "tangencies." (Googling this collocation produces only the Duke source you cite. (the other is a typo for real estate agency). And if you google "immobilientangente" and "real estate" together you get no hits at all.
