From what I can work out this is specifically Swiss - some kind of local referendum about zoning?

Noch sind die Grundstücksverhandlungen in Arbeit und nach Information der Gemeinde-Bevölkerung, werden wir den neuen Standort nennen. Erst danach kommt es zu den weiteren Planungsschritten für eine Umzonungsabstimmung - ein echt schweizerisch demokratischer aber noch langer Weg.

agree  Horst Huber: It does, though, involve a vote, so referendum may not be off the mark.

disagree  philgoddard: You can't translate Abstimmung as "provisions" - if you do, the rest of the sentence doesn't make sense.
