German to English translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Real Estate | | German term or phrase: Vorsorgewohnung | Vorsorgewohnung im Gegensatz zu Anlegerwohnung:
Ich weiß, dass es zu "Anlegerwohnung" bereits einen Eintrag gibt, aber die dort angegebene Übersetzung "investment property", unter die ja nicht nur eine Wohnung, sondern auch ein Haus, ein Grundstück etc. fallen könnte, überzeugt mich nicht.
In Anlehnung and "provident fund", "provident society" denke ich nun bei Vorsorgewohnung an "provident apartment". Google scheint mir hier aber nicht Recht zu geben.
Für den Begriff Anlegerwohnung habe ich "investment apartment" gefunden, hätte aber auch hier gerne eine Bestätigung, dass ich nicht völlig daneben liege.

Googling “Vorsorgewohnung Anlegerwohnung” will reference many Austrian sites that use the term interchangeably.
While “Vorsorgewohnung” seems to be an exclusively Austrian term, Anlegerwohnung is the term used both in Austria and also in Germany.

Regarding Andrew Swift’s comment: Assisting an asker find the correct target term will often start with a definition of the source term –standard practice, really. In this case I have tried to supply just that by suggesting that the two terms are actually regional linguistic variants.
