Religion
German term or phrase: Heilsreligion
Description of a Roman settlement. Local gods in subjugated regions were integrated into the Roman system of Gods

So wurden die aus dem Orient stammenden jenseitsbezogenen Heilsreligionen, wie der Kult des Bacchus/Dionysos oder des Mithras integriert, nicht aber das Christentum.

Notes to answerer
Asker: Thank you, but why would Christentum then not be included? It promises salvation after all (at least to "good" people), or am I mistaken here?

redemptive religion

Explanation:
since Mahayana Buddhism took the form of a redemptive religion (Heilsreligion) born from the needs of the populace, it came to worship Shakyamuni...

Probably more general than "salvation," which may be more strictly a Christian word.

Also, fwiw, Christianity is a combination of a redemptive religion and a moral religion.

Reference information:
In the ref below, Christ, Mithras and Dionysus are specified as "saviour godmen" in what is called "salvation cults".

NB: The opposition is probably "die aus dem Orient stammenden Heilsreligionen, nicht aber die Heilsreligion Christentum".
