German term or phrase: 3 Achsen Rückwand
This is some kind of display used for clothing, where logos can be fixed to it. I'm not sure as it is 3 Achsen whether it is therefor for pieces (3 axles?) or not.

Explanation:
Sounds like some kind of portable exhibition/display stand. I would forget the "axle" and use three-part or something similar. Check out the sites I listed, you may find something similar

Asker: I don't think any of those displays was really suitable and that this answer doesn't take the hinges (or axle) into account. Three-part display could be segmented horizontally.
