German to English translations [PRO] Marketing - Retail | | German term or phrase: Sonderdurchgänge | Es geht um einen Bericht über verschiedene Aktivitäten beim Kunden (ein Lebensmittelmarkt). Dabei sind Begriffe wie Sonderdurchgänge, Promotions, Streifenplatzierung etc. erwähnt.
Der Begriff Sonderdurchgang ist mir neu. Kann mir jemand von Euch erklären, um was es dabei geht und wie der englische Begriff hierfür lautet?

| | special aisles | Explanation: I originally thoughtthat "specialist aisles" might have worked but it does not seem to be a common concept. "Special aisles" throws up more hits in Google. Lots of supermarkets in the UK now have sections like "Polish food" and "world foods" so I am guessing that this is what is being referred to. Without more context it is hard to say. |
