As I see, you have registered recently. I don't know how many years of experience you have, but by doing the job you will realize that there are cross-translations which are a little challenging to understand sometimes. I assume that everyone has realized that the only sentence provided sounds a little awkward. Then we attempt to make the best interpretation. If the asker did not provide more than one sentence, this is what can be done.
Someone was asking what "gesetzt" means; I would think it means "established."

You're right. We're here not to correct the author. We're here to understand the author. A translation is possible only when (or after) the translator understands what the author is saying.

The translator is to translate what the writer/author says, not to make corrections of the autor, just how I think.

It says "sind gesetzt" because the writer has wrongly made the verb agree with Gesellschaften instead of Landschaft. I took "gesetzt" to mean "in place" or 'installed".

what "gesetzt" means here? "Die bestehende Kassenlandschaft...sind gesetzt" (or even "...ist gesetzt", for that matter) doesn't convey anything to me.
