I recently did some work involving an advanced CAD system with which a power plant could be virtually modeled (virtuell abgebildet) -- not just its physical appearance, but also the internal processes IAW the input parameters for the various plant systems -- before the first earth was turned, so that the future owner/operator could see exactly what he would be getting and exactly how it would operate (or very close to "exactly"), thus giving him the opportunity to suggest additions and modifications, and perhaps improvements in accordance with his specific requirements.
