Dadurch lässt sich insbesondere der Überwachungs- und Ressourcenaufwand für das manuelle Kontrolltesten z. T. erheblich reduzieren. Die automatisierten Überwachungsfunktionen der Anwendung lassen zudem eine wirksame Ausrichtung auf das COBIT-Framework zu."

I'm not really sure what "eine wirksame Ausrichtung auf (etwas) zulassen" means. Does it mean (the automated monitoring functions) enable you to orientate to the (COBIT framework) effectively?, though not really sure what that means either!
